House Types - Which House is Right for You?
What is it that differentiates a typical house from a bungalow, a duplex, a flat, a ranch-style home or even a row home? House type refers to the number of rooms in a house and usually also the number of baths and flooring, among other factors. The type of dwelling you have will depend on what you are looking for. Is your house going to be rented out, or are you planning to live there yourself? If so, you will want a house that meets your needs. Here's a list of typical house types.
Single-Family Houses tend to be the most common house type. These houses can be individually built, or the builder may require that you agree to a certain house type (e.g., penthouse, two-bedroom, etc.) Most single-family houses are constructed by individuals who live in the home as their only residence, although condo and multi-unit residences are sometimes built by the construction company as an affordable option for first time homeowners.
Tower houses are usually freestanding and are built on a series of levels. These house types are usually open in the middle, with more space on the lower levels. Some examples of this type would be a ranch-style building, which has an upper level that opens to a lower living area. These house types tend to be very popular in the suburbs. Typical tower houses are wood framed, and may not have a garage attached.
Bungalows are essentially a smaller version of the single-family house. The only main difference is that a bungalow has more than one room. These house types are generally built by a construction company that specializes in custom built homes. Typically, a bungalow is constructed on a small lot that is less than ten acres in size, and houses only one to three families. Some examples of bungalow types would be cottages, townhouses, and row homes.
Another commonly built type of house is the prefabricated house. Although prefabricated houses are becoming more common, they are still considered to be fairly uncommon. Typically, prefabricated houses are made from steel or wood and are assembled on site. A typical prefabricated house can hold up to twelve people, depending on the size of the building. The construction of prefabricated houses tends to be more economical than other house types because materials can be bought in bulk at a lower cost. In addition, prefabricated houses are constructed in less time than the standard single-family building because materials are pre-made when construction begins.
The final type of house is the two-room house. This type of house is the most popular in the United Kingdom and Ireland. It can range in size from a one-room studio to a three-room house. A typical two-room house features two bedrooms, a bathroom, a living/dining room, and a kitchen. As its name implies, a two-room house is usually only meant for two people, but in some cases, two-room houses can accommodate three or more depending on the size of the home. Most two-room houses are built on sites with easy access to public transport. Click here for more details about แบบบ้าน
