How to Play Pool

Pool is a very popular form of pool cue games played on a large table, usually with six holes on the rail, to which balls are deposited for a winner. Each of the different pool games has its own name: some of the most popular include nine-card, blackjack, ten-card, seven-card, straight, two-pocket and five-pocket. Each of these has their own unique playing rules, so it is important that you learn them if you intend to play regularly.Click here for more details about Pool

The first type of pool game is the nine-card poker, which are played on one's table top, often with more than one player, and involves placing cards face down. The object is to accumulate the highest total cards, to match the cards in your hand, before anyone else can do so. The game ends when all players have reached the same number of cards. This is one of the most popular types of pool games and the best way to get used to playing the game.

The next type of pool game is blackjack, where a deck of cards, usually four decks, are laid out on the table facing each other with each card facing a player. Players are dealt a hand of cards from which they will choose two cards to bet on, which are placed in their hands. The player then takes another card from the deck, the "dealer," and calls the dealer, which then tells all the players what cards the dealer has dealt.

The third type is straight, which involves a player who is holding one or two cue sticks, similar to a billiards table, but on a larger surface. The object is to hit the balls as close as possible to the rails on the table, but not hitting into any pockets or rail lines. It is also possible to hit the rail lines with the cue stick, which would mean a loss of points. Straight pool can be a lot of fun if played with a group of friends, because you never know if someone else is going to get ahead of you.

The fourth type is two-Pocket, in which two people alternate turns, with one player taking one cue stick and the other getting the other one. One player gets to strike a shot with both sticks while the other one, still holding their cue stick, strikes a shot with only one stick.

The last type is Straight, which is the most difficult of all. and requires a lot of practice, as this requires players to learn how to shoot the cue without hitting the rail, which means the cue does not hit the rail and lands where you aim the cue stick.
